Projecte Grimm

"Struwwelpeter, cuentos crueles al oído" (Carlos de Castellarnau, 2020) is a newly created theatrical and musical project aimed at children and young people, based on the classic book Struwwelpeter by Heinrich Hoffman (1845). It is a project conceived from the imagination of creators like Edward Gorey and Tim Burton, through which we critically review pedagogical models based on example, guilt, punishment, and censorship. This production explores the macabre-grotesque dimension through music and proposes an approach to cruelty seen and understood from a child's perspective.
